“The first thing to say is maybe
that you can’t intend to make anything beautiful. It’s either beautiful or not beautiful,

if it’s well conceived it’s certainly beautiful,
so when we say that something is beautiful
we say that it’s well conceived.”

Signage for a concert hall, in collaboration with BTuA (Bernard Tschumi architects). This project was the starting point to design a specific typeface, called Capitale
along with pictograms.
The straight-forward design of this condensed font intends to fit with
the raw selection of materials used for
the building while allowing to maximise
the size of informations.
